Decline In Functional Mobility

Shirley H. admitted to Pecan Bayou and Rehab following a recent surgery and infection. She presented with significant increased weakness, decreased lower extremity sensation, and decline in functional mobility skills. During her stay at Pecan Bayou, she received Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy.

Left Hip Replacement

Joann J. underwent a left hip replacement. After about a week of therapy she had to be re-admitted into the hospital for complications with the left hip prosthesis. After a second surgery, Joann returned to Pecan Bayou to continue therapy with the goal of discharging back home.
